The Dales Pony: the Great All-rounder

The Dales Pony is one of nine M&M pony breeds and is currently listed as critically endangered by both the Rare Breeds Survival Trust in the UK and the Livestock Conservancy in the US. They typically stand between 13.3 and 14.2 hands high. They make excellent carriage driving ponies, dependable and sound trail mounts, fun and sensible jumpers, and competitive dressage ponies. They are ideal for families with young children as they provide plenty of room to grow in size, talent, and ambition! To learn more about the breed’s history, click here.
